To activate your Waterstrøm, simply dive the flashlight handle (or the barrel of the
PowerBank) in a liquid for about 5 seconds so that the device absorbs enough
moisture. If necessary, you can also pour liquid directly on it. Attention, do not
not completely immerse the device, just the handle or the metal part of the barrel.
Waterstrøm technology was developed by energy engineers
The Waterstrøm is based on a global patent. The Waterstrøm is based on
controlled oxidation. When humidification is sufficient, the cells inside are activated
and transmit energy to the bulb. This causes the LED to be turned on, which remains on so
that the cells are wet. This process can be repeated several times, but not indefinitely.
Tests have shown that the total lighting time of a Waterstrøm flashlight can
reach 1500 hours.
Activation with water is always preferable, but in an emergency, any other liquid containing
water will do the trick. So you can activate the lamps in a glass of water, a river or in
the sea but also with fruit juice, beer or urine. However, it will not work
with gasoline, oil or pure alcohol because these liquids do not contain water.
Note: the use of liquids other than water is likely to leave residues in the
device (sugar, fat, etc.). This will then alter the operation of the lamp that could
no longer work afterwards if it has not been properly rinsed.
The lamp cells contain consumable metals whose performance decreases with use. It is therefore recommended to dry the lamp at the end of use to optimize the duration
total operation. To speed up the drying of the lamp, put it in a dry place
Complete drying is achieved when the LED no longer emits any light although the button is in “ON” mode.
Attention danger: Waterstrøm is not designed to dry in the microwave because it contains metal components
